Question: How long have you been a chef?
Answer: All my life in spirit & professionally for several decades now.
 
Question: How long have you been at this restaurant?
Answer: We're coming up on Avanti Cafe's 7th anniversary in April of 2012
 
Question: Who or what inspired you to become a chef?
Answer: A lifelong love of good natural fresh and seasonal food that came w/ my family of Italian heritage
 
Question: What do you enjoy most about your profession?
Answer: Every day, every time you pick up a knife, creativity is involved
 
Question: When you’re not in the kitchen what are you doing?
Answer: Growing chilis & herbs, film festival geek & yoga every day
 
Question: What is your most popular dish?
Answer:  Our soups are always unique and inspired by what is growing at the farm each week.  And our daily specials are great fun to make and photograph
 
Question: Your last meal on Earth would be??
Answer: I'll have a very light breakfast, black coffee and a side car.  Hurry my tray darling, Auntie needs fuel.
 
Question: What's your favorite item on the Restaurant Week Menu?
Answer:  Our homemade organic polenta made w/ organic whey created in our cheese making process, is my favorite.  And there's both an appetizer and an entree on the dinner menu.

Question: How long have you been a chef?
Answer: Coming up on 20 years
 
Question: How long have you been at this restaurant?
Answer: We're coming up on Avanti Cafe's 7th anniversary in April of 2012
 
Question: Who or what inspired you to become a chef?
Answer: My mother- most definitely. She was the queen of using the freshest ingredients and taught me the importance of cooking w/ love.
 
Question: What do you enjoy most about your profession?
Answer: I like being able to walk into the kitchen and asking myself " what do I want to make today"
 
Question: When you’re not in the kitchen what are you doing?
Answer: Traveling w/ my hubby ( not Mark) -running, and reading
 
Question: What is your most popular dish?
Answer:  Our cookies...they've been flying out of the restaurant since day 1
 
Question: Your last meal on Earth would be??
Answer:   " Four fried chickens and dry white toast...and a coke!"

Answer:  Our build your own pizza menu. You get to pick from dozens of delicious, healthy pizza toppings.
